Message from the Founding Member
I want to thank everyone for registering and contributing reviews. This all started as an idea to help entrepreneurs, and I built it over a couple weekends in Ruby on Rails to learn the programming language. I literally had no expectations one way or the other, and it is very encouraging to see it grow so quickly.
The Vision To see every major funding source worldwide reviewed by our Members with insightful and critical feedback. Once we break 1,000 reviews, which is possible given the number of Members, this vision will be very close to reality.
My motives are selfish. I want this database for every company that I start in the future! When I started my current venture backed technology company, I did not expect to take venture funding, but, as we grew, I did not have the personal resources to fund growth. We are now on our Series C with $20 MM raised. The point is that you never know when you will need funding as entrepreneur.
